I agree. The vines are a beautiful design element in your first logo. I think they would work in your second logo, too.

Yeah I had it brighter but then faded it down cause i knew it had to blend in with the rest of the header - so I opted instead to make it more of a hint of the sun rather then a precise sun.

That would be cool, but not fair because alot of ppl just vote for ppl because they are "friends" or just out of pity. If there was a way we could vote and not know who made what entry and the ppl who did make the entries were not allowed to PM everybody on thier buddy list and tell them to vote for them, then maybe that would be fair and it wouldn't be a popularity contest.

Ok, But heres the Rough Idea. Not to scale, but copied images from op and scaled to them, but still to big.
Not sure on copyrights as the background image is a microsoft clipart, also the picture of Jesus is one i found and silhouetted.

But this one absolutely blows my mind. I can see it actually attracting people to the site. There's something very crisp and pure and fresh about it. It's gorgeous.

I know I felt so stupid after I posted that. I have it changed on my computer. Its my favorite verse, I should know it well enough now!!!!!!
