CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Taking the process of evolution far enough back and you arrive at the Big Bang. A single point of energy which burst and created the universe. However, science cannot explain where that single point of energy came from. If science cant explain it then science cannot deny the existance of an architect. If science does, eventually, explain its origin then there will be something else, beyond the point of energy, for science to grapple with.

I thought I opened this thread in the "Open to All" section. If I didnt, my apologies, however, isnt it this type of segregation that drives people away from religion?

For right or for wrong, the outreach section is meant for non-Christians to ask a question and Christians to respond.
If you want non-Christians to be able to respond also, or you want a full-on debate, you need to go to the "Discussion and Debate" section.

Ok. That makes sense. That is how it is explained. My apologies. I will go there for further debate on this.
FYI Ive just learned that there is such a thing called Theistic Creationism which is accepted (atleast not rejected) by a substantial portion of the church.
