  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm ambivelent. There were very few Libertarians on the ballot. And without knowing the people in office personally, I have to pretty much cross my fingers and hope they don't cause a bunch of problems that I'll have to pay for with my hard earned tax dollars.

How many children do you have?

:D Yes, I still want... But, my husband decided there would be no more children, after our youngest child was born 8 years ago. And his decisions are set in stone. So, as the A.A. people say, "Lord grant me the serenity to accept what I can not change."

Do you ever wonder what your life would be like if your life had taken a different path?

Sometimes.....as if I look back I can see the times when, if I'd made a different decision to that which I did make, things would have been different.

Do you have anything extra-special planned for this weekend?

Have in the past, yes. Have changed denominations as well.

Have you ever found it frustrating talking to teachers because of their bad attitude? (if not...you probably don't have children going to school in No. Indiana)

Well, red is reportedly good for appetite. Which is why a lot of restaurants use red in their decor. My kitchen is pale butter yellow, with red and white accents. I like a yellow kitchen myself. It's cheerie. Plus, I have kind of a Country/Americana theme going with roosters and stuff in the ajoining dining room and living room. And it seems to work.

When was the last time someone did something for you that made you feel loved?

I love yellow for a kitchen!

To answer the question though, my kids are always coming up to me, giving me kisses and telling me they love me. I'm enjoying the mess out of it because I know that too soon, they're going to feel like they are "too big" to love on Mommy any more.

Are you one of those people who has to have caffiene in the morning to be fully awake?

In March 1993, it snowed all over the East coast. All the way down into parts of Northern Florida. Totally ruined my spring break because we had planned to go to Washington DC but the roads were all closed. I've still never seen DC :(

What is the one thing that you are vainest about?
