CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I live at home and am a full time student! I have yet to get a real part-time job, but I'm currently a Math Tutor!

Fairly good....
I'm just able to understand new concepts fairly quickly! ^ _ ^ (If I don't use them, I forget them just as quickly )I have a stuffed black cat and a stuffed pink bear that my girlfriend gave me for Valentine's day! ^ _ ^

Acorn Thornpicker is a roleplaying name I use! ^ _ ^ I've since used it as one of my two online usernames!
As for what it means... Well, the words are meaningless, just associated with nature. "Acorn Thornpicker" was a kender, a creature from the Fantasy series "Dragonlance." Acorn Thornpicker was the first character I roleplayed as, and was the product of dictionary surfing.
I've since felt a spiritual allure to the name "Acorn" and use it on any Faith-based forums I frequent!

A stereotype I don't fit, sadly!
I've never been very fond of watching sports, and while I occasionally enjoy looking at the scores, I've never been big into the NHL.I ADORE Tootsie rolls! One of my favorite candies from Hallowe'en! ^ _ ^
