CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Honestly, I didn't read much of it. I looked at it, but the spoiler thing wasn't working so I was a bit put off. Perhaps I will go look at it again now and actually read it.

I've been even bluer and sadder than that. But there have been times where I felt very comfortable and safe and enjoyed whatever sadness I was feeling at the time.
It really depends on the music. If it is classical, I like it. If it is a radio station, I may or may not like it. If it is the annoying MTV-style ads that never stop and beat you over the head about how great the company is that you are calling.... I can't stand those. The gym I go to is the worst about it.

Yes. I like blackberry or raspberry.
I haven't ever tried it, nor have I heard of it. I like either salt and pepper, honey, or cheese. If I make grits, they have lots and lots of cheese and that's it.

Yeah, I have a health condition that has caused me to gain weight recently, so I have joined weight watchers in addition to my going to the gym and doing yoga in the hopes of getting it under control as much as I can before any medications are suggested.
Thanksgiving. It's when families come together and seem really happy. Even if you don't really like all your family, you just seem to get along. Plus, there is never a shortage of mashed potatoes, stuffing, or broccoli rice and cheese casserole!

Except for one, they've all been older. Philosoft has been the oldest with a handful of years age difference, the rest were just two or three. The most recent was a few months younger. I tend to like them older than I am as men in their early 20s just aren't very mature and aren't "into" the same things I am. Some are, but a lot aren't.
I've only tried making instant grits. Please don't make me make them. I don't really know how.

I go Tuesday evenings at 6pm, so I don't know that it would work with your schedule. However, if it does, you are certainly more than welcome to join me. I finished my second week today and have lost 5.8 lbs. So something is working.
Wear a creative costume and say trick or treat. If you just show up and hold out a bag, I'm less inclined to hand out the good stuff. I'm tempted to buy the little packs of play-dough to hand out this year though.
What is the Halloween Party consisting of? I can ask Jenny if they want to come for it.
As for Lost, I think we've made plans to watch it at Jenny's house already.
