In simple terms, Game theory is an algorithm involving cooperation and competiton.

Within a cooperative environment, the results are ideal when all parties cooperate.

Within a competative environment, those who cooperate in the midst of those who compete will soon take on the strategy of competition.

With this in mind, cooperation is a standard of morality among sentient beings.

This is how I determine morality when interacting with another.

This is the basis for a lot of what I determine. Homosexuality is not in competition with me, so I have no problems with it. War can only be considered just, when one side is blatantly showing that it wishes to compete.

As I see it, game theory is only useful in guessing at the best means to achieve pre-determined goals, but it is useless for judging and selecting the goals themselves. Morality is more than just a selection of means -- a moral standard includes the goals by which means are evaluated -- and therefore game theory cannot be the moral standard.
