Our Jewish Roots...
© "God Goggles"
My exhusband and I attended a Jewish temple in which the members believe that Jesus is the fulfillment of the covenant. Most Jews do not believe this. I really do not have space to write all I would love to say here about how our faith is truly Jewish based. For years, we as a culture have overlooked this. I merely wanted to give you the understand that Christianity is Jewish and give you the opportunity to delve into this aspect of our faith for yourselves. In donning your God Goggles you need to learn all you can about the Old Testament and why Jesus had to come. In doing so, you will learn about Judaism. Relish it! It is a culture full of life, hope, and a history like no other. Without understanding this concept, you miss out on a HUGE part of the history of Jesus and His people. You also miss out on explaining so many aspects of Jesus's character, which is important in knowing Him. It would take me another book this same size to explain it all to you. SO, Do not miss out on this important, Important fact and be sure to research as much as you can in your Biblical studies. Jesus was Jewish!
Also, the Bible says in the end times a lot of Jewish people will come to Christ. It is our job to also spread the news of our Lord to them as well. Let us embrace our Jewish brothers and sisters in Christ!
What's In a NAME???
In the Bible God considers names to mean a lot. Several times He changed the names of individuals to mean more of what He had set in mind for their futures or for His Will. He also changed their names when their character changed or to represent a larger scale picture. Here above is a list of those whose names were changed and the verses that you can look up. This is a section I want you to look into yourself. Look each verse up and answer the questions below.
Why were each of these people's names changed? What did they represent? Google helps tremendously but it is good to see this. Take some time to fill in the blanks.

Here is the meaning of my given name:
Kimberly Michelle Webber (Young) is my given name. This means:
Kimberly- The name of Lord Kimberley's title is derived from the like-named place, Kimberley, in Norfolk, England. This place name is derived from two Old English elements: the first is the feminine personal name Cyneburg; the second element is lēah, meaning "wood" or "clearing". The place name roughly means: the "woodland clearing of Cyneburg". This place name was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Chineburlai. The Old English personal name Cyneburg means "royal-fortress" So it means from the Royal Forest Meadow or From the Wood of the Royal Forest
Michelle- (feminine of Michael) Who is Like God or Lover of God;
Webber- Weaver or the Webbers were also known as Farmers in England. Also, Webber is typically German or English. Germans are thought of as warriors.
So, I was to be a warrior or farmer for the Love of God and from the Royal Meadows.
Examine your own name and family heritage. What does your name and DNA tell you? God was HUGE about names and He definitely finds your name important too!

When we get to Heaven God Will Rename Us!
- Kimberly to __________________________ God Will Fill in the Blank - (Look up Rev 2:17) We will all receive new names in heaven that will show our relationship with Christ. We will not know our new names until we get there and God gives us our own pebble with our name on it. I am looking forward to finding out my new name and what God thinks of me!
