According to James 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
When I play a video game as a kid and choose a difficulty I would choose easy. I was recommended by my friends that it's would be better and good to play on harder difficulties like normal or hard which I didn't do at first. God basically wants us to play on higher difficulties other than easy difficulty so we can humble ourselves. He don't want us to believe that everything is easy which is not true so we can learn how to do the hard things and do something good on our own.
So, at 17 I decided to play on a higher difficulty like normal or hard and felt good about myself. I also beat the game again from the beginning at a harder difficulty I probably may had unlocked so I can get good at things and have no trouble with what I'm doing. The same thing applies to education to get good grades.
