These are some ways to make money (amount earned varies and is not to necessarily substitute a full-time job nor am I condoning to not apply for jobs).
• Garage sales: you can either host one or you can browse through garage sales in your area, scope out some items that you think would sell well, and then sell them for a higher price on facebook bidding groups or on VarageSale (a more 'safer' version of Craigslist/kijiji). Apparently a family friend's grand-daughter made quite a bit of money (around $1500-3000) for awhile- I think she did it for about a year?
• Sell hand-made items on Etsy. You can take dollar-store items and transform them into something custom-made.
• Make your own blog-can be about recipes, your Christian walk/journey, places you've traveled, etc.
• YouTube Videos- You can be a Vlogger or do 'reaction' videos to certain things, a DIY channel, recipes, etc. Once you garner a steady amount of views, you can partner up with YouTube and allow ads to play before your video starts.
• If you can knit or crochet, you can make some hats and blankets/afgans and sell them.
• You can bake and sell it to friends/family/Church members who can order from you.
• Mow grass/rake/shovel snow for elderly.
• Planting some hardy herbaceous plants that have a ready market both online and at garage sales such as geraniums, primroses, and haemorocallis.
Will put up more as I think of them or come across others who are willing to share their experiences/ideas.
