Been about a week since I saw this movie - but wanted to just post a quick blurb about it before its no longer fresh in my memory.
I for one cannot understand why this movie is not getting better reviews in the media. I though it was a very good movie - particularly for kids. Granted its no Lord of the Rings - but it is a solid story that pins good against evil and is ripe with some excellent special effects.
It's been so long since I read the book that I can't honestly remember it well enough to determine if it follows the story-line or not but one thing I remember well from the book that is in the movie was when Aslan said to the kids: "I am known in your world by a different name and you are allowed to come to Narnia that you may know me better in your world." Sums up the whole point of the Narnia stories and I'm glad Disney let that line stay in the story.
