Triduum And Easter

Note: Needless to say this was all written in advance of Easter

I couldn't make blog entries for everyday of Triduum, so instead I just opted to make this one entry on behalf of all the days of Triduum, as well as Easter in particular. The reason I couldn't do something for everyday of Triduum was because I was, and may still be going through by the time this blog entry is published, a troublesome turmoil. I'm doing a 33 Day Consecration to Divine Mercy which will be completed by Divine Mercy Sunday, and I have started to suspect that in the final days of these 33 day preparations for consecration one goes through great turmoil, that's one of the reasons why in May, when I will renewing my original Entrustment to Mary, I'll be taking yet another break from Christian Forums. (The other reason I'll be taking a break is simply so that I can enjoy the Month of Mary and honour her more.) I was originally going to post a Stations of the Cross blog entry on here on Good Friday, complete with Bible verses, quotes from the Saints, and my own personal commentaries on the various stations, but due to College work and the stuff mentioned above, I just didn't have time to complete it.

So, what can I say about Triduum and Easter? Ever since the fall, we had been carrying an infinite debt, a debt that we could never repay, no matter what we did. God, in His Infinite Mercy established the Old Covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to enlighten humanity to the Moral Law, and provide a way for people to plead for and receive His grace. However these rites, in and of themselves provided no grace, they were only done out of obedience to God so that the individuals would be deemed worthy in accord with God's ceremonial laws of receiving graces from Him. However, over 2 thousand years later everything changed, God Himself came down, and became incarnate in the womb of Mary, the New Eve, He then suffered for us, and through His painful death on the Cross, He paid our infinite debt with His Infinite Life!

Now we can have life in Him, and receive His Grace and Mercy, now because of His once and for all Sacrifice the temple veil is rent asunder and we can receive His graces truly present in the Sacraments of His New and Eternal Covenant. But that's not all, thanks to His establishment of the Most Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist, it's not just His graces that we can receive through the rending of the veil, God Himself, God the Son, comes down from the Sanctuary to unite Himself with us through Holy Communion, we can now receive Loving Union with God almost everyday, this is the Gospel, the Good News of Christ!

So that's Easter, whether or not I'm going through turmoil when this blog entry is posted, I'm looking forward to the days ahead, I have big plans for this year, not only am I going to make pilgrimages to my diocese's Cathedral of Mary Immaculate, (not to mention celebrate the annual Feast of Our Lady of Fatima) but this Summer I'm planning to launch a campaign to convert several poor sinners who desperately need Our Lady's Maternal Love! But I'm getting ahead of myself, I'll talk about all of this later on this year. For now, I'll just wish everyone a happy and blessed Easter!

Glory to God
and
Hail Mary!
And rejoice,

Christ is risen!!!
