"Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children" (Isaiah 66:8)
It is not incredible for God to wrought miracles in our midst as a church or in your life as an individual. The things He has decided to accomplish in our midst, they will spring forth out of no where. They will emerge from nothing and the whole world will marvel at them.
However, a pregnant woman has a role to play in bringing forth a child. She has to agree to push during labour, otherwise the baby will die. Praying to God concerning His promises is our labour. It is true that the promises of God are yea and amen, but we have a responsibility to seek His face in prayer. This will clearly demonstrate our total dependence on Him. You cannot afford to be lazy in the place of prayer. You must stop using your energy on complaining and murmuring, channel all your strength into pleading with God for help. You will see the glory of God in the land of the living.
There is a promise from God, as soon as you pray, the Lord will rain down answers from the throne of grace. He has been waiting for us to seek His face.
ACTION PLAN: I will stop complaining and murmuring. I will channel all my energies into seeking His face for my life and that of the church.
PRAYER: Father, baptize me and your church with the spirit of prayer and supplication.
