I even feel sad about that. These days I have other feeings for U2 & Bono than what i did back then. I'm bothered about their turning on the truth and promoting a false Christianity etc.
I feel sad it taints the old memories, hope i could still retain both.
It's hard to play the old videos without thinking- dissapointment...
Still in a way it's ok, U2 never should've been idols. They were just at the time where I was at, needing a "foot in the door" and a launching spot.
I got my "new heart"... I hope it keeps "bleeding".
Like another of my fave. songs says- "the wheel will always turn"
I suppose I can inject here.
That sure was a reminder of the past, when I heard someone's (or what i think to have been) voice.
lol without trying to be too poetic or anything... that wouldn't be right to say their voice was like "the sound of many waters" lol
I guess to say- "like music to my ears"- that's too common of an expression.
But for me that's a good one since I enjoy music so much.
I think more so than seeing a picture or reading something, hearing (however in an inconsequencial & insignificant way) effected me.
