The Unmerited Divine Assistance

"The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the presence and fellowship (the communion and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (so be it)." (2 Corinthians 13:14 AMPC)

Grace: Unmerited divine assistance given to humans for their regeneration or sanctification (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)
What Jesus came to accomplish on the Cross of Calvary we did not merit it. It was a divine assistance, a divine initiative, to salvage our situation from the domain of darkness. Jesus did not come to make us millionaires. He came to deliver us from our sins and give us the power to live above sin and everything that positions us as enemies of God.
"She will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus [the Greek form of the Hebrew Joshua, which means Savior], for He will save His people from their sins [that is, prevent them from failing and missing the true end and scope of life, which is God]." (Matthew 1:21 AMPC)
Sin will definitely make a man or woman to fail and miss the true end and scope of life. Anyone without Christ will miss eternity with God. Such will forever be cut off from God's presence. Moreso, anyone living in sin will not be able to utilise their life for the purpose of God. Their lives will run contrary to the will of God. The will of God is hidden in Christ Jesus and His words.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ brought redemption and regeneration to us. We are redeemed when we confess our sins to Him. Our regeneration begin immediately as we continue to behold Christ in the word of God. Our lives are being changed from one degree of glory to another. Hallelujah!

ACTION PLAN: Do not frustrate the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ over your life by continuing in sin.

PRAYER: By the grace our Lord Jesus Christ, I live above sin and sinfulness all the days of my life in Jesus' name. Amen.
