I was abused when I was in my teens and I remember my abuser mentioned that he was abused, and he couldn't forgive that person which was his excuse for hurting me.
Last night I watched a Christian program (700th club) and they had a story about this guy who forgive someone and I don't know if they realize it or not, but I think as they were talking about this they said something interesting about forgiveness. People hurt people because someone hurt them and it goes on and on down the line. If we see that he/she hurt me because he/she can't forgive someone who hurt him/her we get a deeper understanding and make it easier to forgive. And God will bless us richly for forgiving others
