I often wake to the silent sound of a song
stirring in my spirit. This morning it is the
little song I taught my sons when they were
very young:
'Christ my Savior set me free from all my sin~
Free to do the things that count for Him, again,
and again.
I have been released, given love and joy, and
peace. I am free to live for Him Who gives me
life.'
It has been said that the saved are saved from
slavery... no longer held captive to the law
of sin and death! May the body of Christ be
renewed in their mind, and not remain in a
slave mentality, serving dead masters...
