Proverbs 20:27
The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord,
searching all the inward parts...
As the soft wick yields to the stronger force of fire,
a candle is inflamed, giving light in the darkness
that surrounded it. Over time, the candle
changes as it is consumed.
The person consumed by the fire of the Lord
will be changed by it, providing warmth and
light to those in darkness. As their life is spent-
consumed- by and for the Lord, they will fulfill
their purpose.
Lord, kindle my heart... it cannot be kindled
without You... consume me with Your fire, so
shall I serve my purpose, in You.
