"You know that He appeared in visible form and became Man to take away [upon Himself] sins, and in Him there is no sin [essentially and forever]." (1 John 3:5 AMPC)
Jesus appeared on earth in bodily form to take our sins upon Himself on the cross. He came to set us free from sin and its power. There is no excuse for us to continue in sin. Anyone that continue in sin and claim that the grace of God covers him, has not met Christ. He is being deceived and has, unfortunately deceived himself. Jesus manifested to purchase grace for us to live above sin.
"She will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus [the Greek form of the Hebrew Joshua, which means Savior], for He will save His people from their sins [that is, prevent them from failing and missing the true end and scope of life, which is God]." (Matthew 1:21 AMPC)
Jesus came to break the power of sin over our lives. Are you still living in sin and immorality or finds yourself entangled with the affairs of this world (things of the world attracts and determines your every step)? It is an indication that you are yet to receive the power that delivers from sin. Cry to God this morning to visit you with the power of resurrection and deliver you from sin.
ACTION PLAN: Let us check our lives under the x-ray of the Holy Ghost. Every sin must be confessed and renounced by receiving the grace of Jesus.
PRAYER: Lord, deliver me from the power of sin. Set me free from my entanglement with the world system.
