The Prophesied Son of Man
“I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought Him near before Him. And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.”
Dan 7:13-14
Jesus Emptied Himself of His Divine Privilege to Redeem Mankind
“But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that He by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”Heb 2:9
“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily He took not on him the nature of angels; but He took on Him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved Him to be made like unto His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that He himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to succour them that are tempted.” Heb 2:14-18
Firstborn of Every Creature?
“In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn (prototokos) of every creature: For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him:”
Col 1:14-17
Some take this to mean that Jesus was the first being created.
Prototokos = First in rank, as an heir (the firstborn)
“And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence.”
Col 1:18
Jesus was not the first to be raised from the dead
Elisha raised a boy from the dead in 2 Kings 4:35
Lazarus was raised by Jesus in John 11:43
The Beginning of the Creation of God
“And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning (arche) of the creation of God;”
Rev 3:14
Beginning - Arche = First cause, ruler
“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning (arche) and the end, the first and the last.”
Rev 22:13
In the active sense, this means that He was the creator. All things were made by Him.
We already know that nothing that was made was not made by Him. This would not be true if Jesus were "made".
