The Joy-producing Grace

"Through him a joy-producing grace cascaded into us, empowering us with the gift of apostleship, so that we can win people from every nation into a faithful commitment to Jesus, to bring honor to his name." (Romans 1:5 TPT)

Salvation through Jesus brought grace that produces joy in us. It is not right for us to be moody due to lack of one thing or another. It is an insult to the new life we received.
In reality, we now wholly belong to God and He belongs to us. This is the highest point of satisfaction in heaven and on earth. We must desist from the attitude of allowing the devil to magnify our physical need for things. God has promised to meet all our needs as we go about proclaiming His gospel. Every believer's primary calling is to seek God's kingdom and it's righteousness, and herald same to the dying world by every means available. This includes our professional careers, they are meant to proclaim God's Good News to the world.
We have been called to reconcile people to God through Christ. We must also help them to become committed to Him. This will be achieved by teaching them His principles and encouraging them to practice them.
Everything we do in God's kingdom must bring honour and glory to Him. We must never seek honour and glory for ourselves. If we do otherwise, we will be setting ourselves in opposition against the Lord of Hosts Himself. He resists the proud and haughty but He gives more grace to the humble.

ACTION PLAN: Are we as joyful as we ought to be in the Lord? Is the joy of the Lord our strength in reality?

PRAYER: Father, let Your joy-producing grace flood my heart. I want to be joyful in You irrespective of my outward conditions in life.
