"Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord , I will joy in the God of my salvation." Things will not always go as I planned them. Results may not be forthcoming as I expect them. Yet I must be joyful in the God of my salvation. My joy must never depend on external results but on the Lord. I must receive grace to be joyful all the times. The joy of the Lord must be my strength. When I excessively focus on a particular expected outcome, I maybe disappointed when they did not come through. I must rather trust in the everlasting arms. I must trust God despite whatsoever thing that betide.
ACTION PLAN: I must henceforth be joyful in the Lord by His grace.
