"What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Don’t they come from the evil desires at war within you?" (James 4:1 NLT)
The source of quarrels and fights is not external, but everyone that quarrels with the other is unsettle within. Contrary to what many will have us believe about their quarrelsomeness, it is a function of internal conflict. Anyone that is at peace inside cannot quarrel with anyone outside.
At the core of internal conflict is evil desires and inordinate ambitions. These evil desires are by all means demanding to have expressions. They unsettle a man and make him to do whatever it takes to accomplish them.
The way out of these is to bring our inner environ to Jesus at the Cross, and ask Him to crush every one of them. He will also replace them with His eternal and internal peace.
ACTION PLAN: Stop excusing your quarrelsome nature, bring it to Christ at the Cross.
