Yesterday I took my daughter to the fair, we had a pretty good time. She found a little friend to ride rides with her most of the early afternoon. Then just about the time he had to go we ran into her cousins from polson and they played the rest of the after noon together until they had to get to their concert then she found another little girl to play with all night, until about 10:30 when we left (so did the other little girl). She had so much fun. She one a little pillow pet (ladybug) and a hedgehog. She got her face painted (a multi color dog) and then got a candied apple.
We got to the fair at about 12:30 and did nothing but run around and play, I thought for sure she would want to go home by 8 but no
so lesson number one that I learned is never again tell a six year old that we will stay until she says she is ready to go home because there is NO wearing her out
.
However at 10:30 I asked if she was ready because mom had to go to work early in the morning she asked if she could ride two more rides and then we could go so I gladly said yes and she did only ride to more rides and then we went home, she didn't even fuss she laid her head on my shoulder and was asleep before we ever got home. I think she had a great time, and this year she was able to go on all rides but 3, most of them I still had to ride with her on but for the most part she and her little friends went together.
