in the end sorrow came from love just as much as joy did, it's the natural reaction of missing wisdom and having wisdom. suffering means a great deal as does being a creature, they are utterly important to God no matter how much you might forget such things. there are reasons why things are how they are and they are all based in Gods love and wisdom.
it's a blessing to not know anything, a blessing to be weak and fragile and nothing. it's easy for God to love his Son, because he is the apple of his eye and he knows so much and is full of the Divine Everything. but for we specks of dust to love and to be loved.... this too is Gods glory. the love that souls have is a good partner with agape. this not-Godness is Gods overflowing or emptying of himself and he deserves so much. if God was insane then it would only be counted as good and if he deserved anyone it would be someone that was completely free from him.
what is it if I made myself someone that would love me? they would be little more than a doll, a figment. what is it if I gave birth to my son compared to my son growing up and becoming a good man? the budda was said to have grown up in a palace. how crippling it was and his father was always trying to protect him from the lower world.
if you really loved Jesus then you would love the truth and the goodness inside of anyone that it rest in and happens to be. in this world of separation I am given the ability to be completely free, even from Gods naming of me. love is the endless abyss that is the foundation of all things. it's better to be at peace with all but if I love someone above all, then i don't mind being cut off from all if it meant being with all even more. is not that how this world is in some sense? if i'm something, then what is it to another? we shall each account to God what we are be it shameful or be it a rejoicing. so each soul has it's own worth and there is a multiplicity of loves living inside of God, each in their proper order and if one is missing then God seeks to find and repair such, for it is his kingdom. so hell will last as long as it needs to last, and God will form as many dwelling places of divers conditions that there are of souls, though he always seeks all the more to draw them nearer to his own heart and life.

I almost prefer suffering in this world over the worthlessness of it all than I do in faking being good and thinking this world could ever matter. all the deadness of our world, of our creature existence comes from nothing but a powerful reaction of love inside of God, of it feeling to be departed from and thus dying away from that most wonderful and best of all realities. so humans cling to what tiny fragments of truth they can, because they are hopelessly lost out of a secret love for God. but it is not good that man be alone.
the sacrifice of God was that he let his Son go into a world that hated him, even though he himself loved it. not all things born out of humanities irrational freedom is good but it had to be, because God wants son and daughters, which means they must be as God is to the utmost, freely being just as he is freely loving us, not based on causes and conditions but rather based on his own divine freedom to be good or to do evil, and he like the truly good one he is, rejected evil, because his love is really real and not merely an accidental quality of himself and his divine might. he could delete us all and not blame himself over it, but that is not his nature, though some think that is how reality functions. he suffers birth pangs until he gets to rejoice that his child is well and healthy. a parents happiness is only as great as are the conditions their children are in, but our Father holds himself together well for if our Father freaked out then surly we are all doomed.
thus is revealed the mystery of why some folks perceive God as an evil doer and yet still strive to do good in the world, even if they believe they have no reward. in that is the glory that atheist give to God and it is very precious to him.
