I was just like most people when we think of Jesus Christ we just focus on his birth Christmas and his death Easter . At one time years ago I was going through some issues and I wanted some answers .So I typed in what would Jesus say about that ? And through the marvel of the Internet it opened up all the scriptures on what Jesus said .And it was so opposed to what I was actually taught . " That the kingdom of God is with you " what's in me ? it must mean its a state of mind . I thought you had to go to a outer church , but they never taught me that ? Jesus said , "I am the way " a way isn't the end as I was taught just give the sinners prayer no a " way " is a path a journey that I must have to go through to enter Heaven. Then I learned early followers of Jesus weren't called Christians , but ' Followers of the way " and I too wanted to be a follower of the way . So I started internalizing Jesus words about being " As little children to enter the kingdom ?" Well little children they have a beginners mind they are open to being taught new things they aren't close minded like adults who think they know it all. Then I studied "You have to put on the wedding garment to enter the wedding feast " So where do I buy a wedding garment ? I can't so I must have to sow one for myself which takes a lot of work as I have discovered .There are so many more and each one is like a puzzle piece that puts together a larger picture . So many teachings Jesus gave us that have so many deeper meanings like " Looking at the beam in your eye " which is the ego and that takes a lot of work. When Jesus said , "One who is greater than Soloman is here " what is he trying to tell us ? Soloman was considered the wisest man in the OT so Jesus must be telling us his teachings are higher than anything in the OT .So I don't focus on the OT as so many others do when there is so much to focus on with Jesus teachings . The best part of all this is by internalizing and focusing on Jesus's words I can come into oneness with Jesus who is behind those words .I can go in and connect to him and he gives me guidance not in a do this or do that way , but in a higher understanding of the situation . I have a whole book now of automatic writing that helps me . Because did he not tell us , " I am always with you " That is the greatest gift anyone could ever receive on Christ Mass is connecting to his word and letting the Christ be born in you .
