"For the promise to Abraham or his posterity, that he should inherit the world, did not come through [observing the commands of] the Law but through the righteousness of faith." (Romans 4:13 AMPC)
The law came through Moses, but when God declared Abraham righteous Moses was still in his loins. Abraham walked with God by faith. God was his law, He directed him by His Spirit. Therefore Abraham was the emblem for those will thereafter walk with God by faith, He was actually declared the father of faith.
"May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us," (I Kings 8:57 NKJV)
In 2021, God is calling us to walk with Him by faith. Abraham and many of our founding fathers walked with God by faith. Without faith it will be impossible to please God. He will never leave us or forsake us when we decide to trust and obey His precepts.
ACTION PLAN: Let us do away with doubt and unbelief this year and beyond.
PRAYER: Father, open heaven unto me and help me to walk with you by faith.
