So, here I am still not sure about a believer celebrating Easter and Christmas. In and of the religious observance of both I don't have an issue. I just don't understand why in our day and age when from so much research we continue to observe these occasions not only on the dates they did not happen but they also incorporate the usage of items from pagan rituals alongside their observances. Why do we do that?
Many say it's harmless fun. In and of itself, I might agree. But these activities are not just in and of themselves. They are included alongside our celebrating of God becoming man and coming to earth and dying for our sins and then conquering death and rising from the dead and making a promise that He will return for His own. What does Santa Clause or a colored egg with bunny's and chicks have to do with that?
In my opinion it is no wonder that the world is confused. There are so many out there who say they are born again, yet by all observance of them, no one would know it 'cept they said so.
How do we separate ourselves without being considered "weird"? Is the very act of separation gonna cause others to see us as weird? Does it matter?

2 Cor 6:17 "Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."
Have we come out from among "them" (the one's who have not accepted Jesus as God and Savior) to even be noticed as being separate? Are we different, or do we just blend in with the rest of the people? Does it show in our thoughts and actions and celebrations?
