In the 7th chapter of Romans, Paul is talking about the war between our fleshly desires and our desires to serve God with all our heart, mind, and soul. He explains by referencing to himself and how much he loves Torah (God's instructions) but also how much he wrestles with the desires of his...

Ninevah, mentioned in the book of Jonah in the Bible, was an extremely wicked city and their treatment of the Jewish people is comparable to the more recent Holocaust. So when God told Jonah to "Go to Ninevah and proclaim judgment on it, for I have seen their wickedness", Jonah would have no...

I just watched a video of a test they did, I think it was in the 40's, where other than color they had two identical baby dolls. One doll was white, the other was black. They set the dolls in front of different children, I'd guess 3 to 5 years old. They were asked to point out which doll was the...

Deut 30:19 -20a “I call the heavens and the earth to witness about you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore choose life so that you and your descendants may live, by loving Adonai your God, listening to His voice, and clinging to Him." We...

In the book of Numbers, chapter 9 Adonai is telling Moses the people are to celebrate the Passover every year on the 14th day of the first month which is Nissan, and the children of Israel did so. However, a group of men approached Moses and told him tha since they had been in contact with a...

The Jewish people have a prayer for everything...literally, everything. The prayer for studying Torah (God's Word) is: Blessed art thou, Lord our G-d, King of the universe, who sanctifies us with Thy commandments and commanded us to engross ourselves in the words of the Torah. The words...

I do disagree with the last sentence. Because of Paul's experiences he would have definitely had plenty to write about, but he would not have anything to verify what he was writing. It was Torah that the Bereans searched to make sure that what they were hearing was true.

Deut 26:1-11 So when they entered the land that God had given them as an inheritance, and possessed it and dwelled in it, they were to take the first of all the produce, put it in a basket, and take it to the synagogue in Jerusalem. They were not to do this though UNTIL they conquered the...

Deut 24:14-25:19 Video Teaching 14-15 “Never oppress a poor hired man, whether a fellow Israelite or a foreigner living in your town. Pay him his wage each day before sunset, for since he is poor he needs it right away; otherwise he may cry out to the Lord against you and it would be counted...

You have become blind when you see nothing wrong with something God has called sin. Isa 5:20 "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." Matt 6:23 "But if your vision is poor, your whole body...

According to the scriptures we are saved by being born again...starting with repentance, we put our faith and trust for our salvation in Jesus and what he did on the cross for us. We then continue this earthly walk with God living as HE instructed in order to live a satisfying, productive, and...

Deut 24:5-13 Remember living in a country that does not on a whole observe God's instructions can be difficult. In the event that we ARE able to do as God instructed then we should do what we can. The government in the USA (where I'm at) currently have a "draft". Our soldiers enlist on...

Deut 23:25-24:4 This instruction is pretty clear cut. Remarrying an ex who married someone else after being devorced from you and now their available again is forbidden. In the event in being guilty of this, Yeshua still offers forgiveness. Repent and move forward (you and your spouse) and...

Deut 23:8-24 I try to not tell you how you should apply the scripture. I can point you to what it says and try and give some insight and understanding to it, but the application of it into your life is between you and God. All who left Egypt were not Israelites. There were many Egyptians who...

Deut 22:8-23:7 It was expected that if your house had a flat roof (and generally they did) that the owner build a guard rail. If someone was on the roof (we'd call it a patio) and fell off then the owner was held responsible. They were considered blood-guilty for failure to protect human...

Deut 21:22-22:7 In these verses God shows a few examples of kindness, not just to our neighbors, but to the animal kingdom as well. God cares for humankind and animals and their feelings and emotions. Even a lost person is still worth the value of a person and God, after telling the...

Deut 21:10-21 In the scripture address I have attached a short video of this Torah portion given by Rabbi Gordon. It gives the background behind this Torah Portion laws. The one point that he makes is that for the events described in this portion, God made so many hoops to be jumped through...

Deut 20:10-21:9 I'd like to start out saying, that much of what was written to Israel then, was for Israel then. There are many things now that due to no temple, no priests, and no judges per God's instructions can no longer be done. Thus, the differing lifestyles from then to now. Having...
