So Good

God is so good. I'm just in awe at how my life has improved so much in the last few years. Not that it was not good before but there was so much struggle with debt that I could barely see straight. I'm not in that place anymore. Thank you Yeshua

I moved in mid October to an apt closer to where I work. I just love my little apartment. It is indeed very small and I'm still trying to find the place that everything belongs in. Slowly but surely it's all coming together.

I built a shelf for my birds. The shelf is on brackets and it's situated at the upper half of the window that looks out at the back part of my apartment. They seem to like it there...especially since the cat can no longer climb on their cage and sleep on top.

I'm also in the process of making book shelves using cardboard boxes from printer paper. I'm putting extra layers of cardboard on all the sides and the back and stacking them. So far that is coming along great. When it gets warmer I will paint them.

With my job I'm no longer considered a road driver. There was a position open to work in the yard. I now have a regular schedule. I also now have a regular pay cheque. I know when I'm working and that I'm working. No more staying bound to my phone wondering when it will ring for a trip and if it will be a decent trip where I will make enough money. There are so many things I desire to do with the free time now. I think it's going to take awhile though. Sebastian, my cat seems to be quite content with the new schedule too. The phone is no longer ringing in the middle of the night for a trip.

I think of my dad on a daily basis. I miss him.

We had our first snow fall this last Sunday evening. The roads got really bad and I had to drive in it but God protected me and my crews as we drove where we needed to go. I was running quite late but we got there.
