REVEALTION 22
The River of Life
Rev 22:1 And he shewed Me
A pure river of water of life
Clear as crystal
Proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb
John_4:10-11 Jesus answered and said unto her, If You knew the gift of God, and who it is that said to You, Give me to drink; You would have asked of Him, and He would have given You living water. The woman said unto Him, Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
He that believes on Me, as the scripture has said, out of His belly shall flow rivers of living water.
NOTE: Not the literal belly, for this is a figure of speech and means from out of the depth of Him. That is, His mind, shall come living spiritual water.
Rev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it
And on either side of the river
Was there the tree of life
Which bare twelve manner of fruits
NOTE: Gen_2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
And yields Her fruit every month
And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations
NOTE: See Gen 2:3-4 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
Rev 22:3 And there shall be no more curse
But the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it
And His servants shall serve Him
Rev 22:4-5 And they shall see His face
And His name shall be in Their minds (foreheads)
And there shall be no night there
And they need no candle
Neither light of the sun
For the Lord God gives them light
And they shall reign for ever and ever
Jesus Is Coming
Rev 22:6 And He said unto Me
These sayings are faithful and true
And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel
To show unto His servants the things which must shortly be done
Rev 22:7 Behold
I come quickly
Blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book
Rev 22:8 And I John saw these things
And heard them
And when I had heard and seen
I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed Me these things
Then said He unto Me
See You do not do it
For I am Your fellow servant
And of Your brethren the prophets
And of them which keep the sayings of this book
Worship God
Rev 22:10 And He said unto Me
Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book
For the time is at hand
NOTE: Now is the time was ready for these things then, why do men today try and put them into this age? Because of the false teachings man.
Rev 22:11 He that is unjust
Let him be unjust still
And he which is filthy
Let him be filthy still
And he that is righteous
Let him be righteous still
And he that is holy
Let him be holy still
Rev 22:12 And behold
I come soon (quickly)
And My reward is with Me
To give every man according as his work shall it be
Gal_2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Tit_3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
I am Alpha and Omega
The beginning and the end
The first and the last
Rev 22:14-16 Blessed are they that do His commandments
That They may have right to the tree of life
And may enter in through the gates into the city
For without are dogs
Ad sorcerers
And harlot mongers
And murderers
And idolaters
And whosoever loves and makes a lie
I Jesus
Have sent My angel (John) to testify unto you
These things in the churches
I am the root and the offspring of David
And the bright and morning star
NOTE: Jesus said He sent His angel to testify these things. He told John to take the writing to the seven churches of Asia. Therefore John was His angel who was to testify these things to those churches.
If John testified these things to those seven churches, why do men today try to take this Revelation which was given to John and try to apply it to today's things? Why, because of the lack of spiritual knowledge which they have not.
NOTE: This will upset many for sure. Only because they refuse to have ears to ear. God has given all judgment to His son Jesus Christ, not to us.
Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say Come
And let him that hears say Come
And let him that is athirst come
And whosoever will let him take the water of life freely
Rev 22:18-19 For I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Rev 22:20 -21 He which testifies these things says, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
