I watched Reluctant Debutante this morning.
I had not seen it since I was much younger.
I enjoyed it as much as all those years ago.
The daughter in which the title refers to is played by Sandra Dee.
Her father and step mother are played by Rex Harrison and Kay Kendall.
Another wonderful star in it is Angela Langsbury.
This original was from 1953.
It was remade in 2003 as What a Girl Wants.
It is different enough I did not realize the latter was a remake.
