If we are going to walk on earth and properly represent God, our hearts must be prepared for persecution. Everyone that seeks to please God in this present generation will be persecuted.
"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you." (Matthew 5:10-12 NKJV)
It is a blessing and a rare privilege to be persecuted for righteousness' sake.
We are to rejoice when people drag our names in the mud for the sake of the gospel. This will not be like a walk in the park for us, we must obtain the grace of God for it.
ACTION PLAN: Stop being moody because of persecution, rather receive grace from God to rejoice.
PRAYER: Father, help me to remain steadfast under persecution.
