Lord, I pray you would help me to be calm as the turmoil and strife around me abound. I surrender my heart to You so that You may perfect Your work in me. I am in desperate need of Your holy touch on my life and in the lives of my loved ones. May You be ever present, to calm my fears and doubts, and to meet me at the greatest point of my need. Lord, I give You this time, for I know that true peace can only be found in Your presence, where we know there is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore.
