"Is it easier to say to the paralyzed man ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or ‘Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk’?" (Mark 2:9 NLT)
Of a truth, which of these is easier 'Your sins are forgiven' or 'receive your healing'? I perceive it is easier to command healing than to ask for forgiveness of sin on behalf of sick. Our ministry would have been more profitable if we focus on getting people to overcome sins than labouring and praying for physical miracles in their lives. This does not mean that we should completely ignore people's physical need, but our emphasis should be on redeeming and establishing them.
Personally, I desire more of physical miracles than victories over sin. Perhaps, I take the latter for granted. This morning God is pointing out the truth that continual victory over sin I must pursue more than my need for physical miracles. This will definitely lead to my being more consecrated to my God. Consecration must be my daily pursuit. I must receive grace to say NO to sin and sinful habits. This is the realm where the supernatural wonder-working power of God flows into a life and lay hold of him or her.
ACTION PLAN: Focus on your personal consecration to God and become a miracle in this generation.
PRAYER: Father, set me apart for yourself and your glory. Preserve me from sinning against You all the days of my life. Amen.
