Paul Kept The Sabbath

Paul Kept the Sabbath!
Acts 13:14 From Perga they went on to Pisidian Antioch. On the Sabbath they entered the synagogue and sat down.

Acts 13:44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord.

Acts 16:13 On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there.

Acts 17:2 As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures,

Acts 18:4 Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.
Here's God's initial statement on Sabbath: Exodus 31:13
"Say to the Israelites, 'You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the LORD, who makes you holy.
A sign? What kind of sign? I suddenly thought about where God in Deut 6 said "
6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."

I think the sign is that HIS words and following them as much as we are able are "foremost on our minds". Doing everything perfectly is not the issue. It's the desire to keep what He says foremost in our minds and hearts. It's relying on Him for everything and trusting that what He's said is beneficial for us. It makes us stronger. It makes us overcomers, not victims.
