Telltale Games' CEO, its president, and "The Walking Dead Season 3" creator talked up the prospect of a second season of video game adventure this fall at the San Diego Comic-Con.
The video game version of Robert Kirkman's "The Walking Dead" scooped over 90 game of the year awards following its episodic release in 2012.
Five new characters for season two have already been introduced by means of the five-chapter episode "The Walking Dead: 400 Days," released across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Mac, PC, and iOS devices.
But decisions made back in season one can still affect how things unfold in season two, implied studio head Dan Connors, advising that players' old decisions would still have some sort of impact, reported Game Informer and IGN.
Additionally, two characters from season one were named as having a role of some sort in the events of season two: orphan girl and central character Clementine, and the generally well-liked, but presumed dead, Kenny -- will he be returning in zombie form, or does his death carry a ripple effect?
