The Father & Jesus are One
“I and My Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him.”
John 10:30-31
“The Jews answered Him, saying, For a good work we stone Thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that Thou, being a man, makest thyself God.”

“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making Himself equal with God.”
John 5:17-18
Jesus is Not Another God

God does not contradict Himself. It a passage on its own seems to contradict other scripture, we must examine the context in which it is given. This context will agree with the rest of scripture.
No Other gods
“…that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He: before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside Me there is no saviour.”
Isaiah 43:10-11
This verse clearly defines that there is only one true God, all knowing, present everywhere, a refuge for those who call upon Him.
“As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by Him.”
1 Cor 8:4-6
