"Never stop praying." (1 Thessalonians 5:17 NLT)
The word of God commanded us to never stop praying. But time and time again, we fail to practice this solemn command and wandered into handling issues with our human understanding. He who mastered the art of praying always has mastered the art of total dependence on God. We cannot totally and completely depend on God without prayer.
Prayer is the act of communing with God: We talk to Him and He talks back to us. It is a tool that will help us to cast all burden on Him. Over time, our experiences has been different. Prayer for us has been a monologue rather than dialogue. We only talk to Him about our requests, we hardly have time to listen to Him about those requests and many other things He want to share with us. Praying without ceasing will train our ears to hear Him.
ACTION PLAN: How has your prayer life being? Dare to commune with God rather than just pouring your requests on His table. (Exodus 31:18)
PRAYER: Holy Spirit help me to never stop praying. Pour the spirit of prayer and supplication on me.
