Name Above All Names

There is so much in a name. Names mean a lot in the Bible. The "name above all names" in the Bible is Jesus:
Php 2:9 Therefore God has highly exalted Him, and has given Him a name which is above every name,
Php 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of heavenly ones, and of earthly ones, and of ones under the earth;
Php 2:11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
A name does not just denote a certain word or title that we must call Jesus. Or God. It refers more to His character, and this is why Phil 2:11 says "to the glory of God the Father." Many of the names of God in the Bible do glorify the Father, and Rom 3;26 tells us that the whole point of the gospel is that He might be just, and the Justifier..."

It is my prayer that this blog will glorify God as we explore all the different names of God in the Bible and what they mean...when we think of God's name/s denoting His character, then the following takes on a whole new meaning.
The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe." (Prov 18:10)
I cannot begin to depict the many blessings I have experienced in this line of study; hence, the creation of this blog, with daily or sometimes weekly, thoughts/experiences regarding that "name above all names."
