My Sleep Routine Mistake As A Teen

As a teen, I didn't sleep for enough amount of hours. The reason why is because I'd set my alarm clock at either 5am or 6am. I'd also go to bed around 9 or 10pm which is fine. From 9pm-5am, I'd get about 8 hours of sleep. From 10pm-5am, I'd get 7 hours of sleep. Then, I started to change my sleep routine from 9pm-6am, or 10pm-6am. From 9pm-6am, I'd get 9 hours of sleep. From 10pm-6am, I'd get 8 hours of sleep.
Now, as an adult. I googled "How much sleep do teens need?". According to this source: https://sleepfoundation.org/sleep-topics/teens-and-sleep
Teens supposed to get 8-10 hours of sleep per night. As an adult, I realized I made a huge mistake by setting my alarm clock from 5am-6am and wake myself earlier in the morning with that alarm clock setting. I set an alarm clock to wake myself at 5am-6am in the morning just to play MMORPGs that wasn't worth wasting my time on. Because of this method, I didn't get enough hours of sleep as a teen.

Tip: Do not set an alarm clock to wake yourself up before 7am. Try to get 8-10 hours of sleep per night.
