Mental Freedom

Why is there such a rise in mental illness and suicide especially in the rich western nations . Where it seems like everyone is on some kind of pill to deal with this or that anxiety . Where most people have their material needs met. Where the average person has a such a high standard of material living that people just 75 yrs ago could not even imagine just ask a grandparent if they are still around how hard they had it .Because man does not live by bread alone .We are not just evolved animals who just need our material needs met .We are very complex spiritual beings who have higher needs and people don't understand this cause the majority of people aren't being told this.So they don't know how to cope with their problems .They are being told they just need to take a pill that will just mask over their anxiety but won't fix the real problem until people deal with it.Our minds work much like a computer people wouldn't think of going on the internet with out some kind of virus protection , but we leave our minds wide open to everything in the world without any thought of protection .So then people take on these mental viruses from all the negative stuff out there . It effects all the programing in their minds.And the only way to get rid of a virus is to see it deal with it so you can delete it That's where we need millions of trained psycho - spiritual professionals to help people with this creating a new field in society .Especially young people who been taught in schools that they are just highly evolved monkeys .So now we have a entire generation that thinks life has no meaning and when they get frustrated , angry the tension builds in them until they erupt like a volcano as we seen in all the school shootings. A very troubled young woman was just on a this forum a couple of days ago looking for help .Her bother replied that he was going through her laptop and found her posts. He was trying to understand why she took her life a few days ago .And this very big problem isn't going away any time soon .And just like every problem in society it will take the spiritual people to come forward to bring about change to say this is wrong there is a better way to live than the ways that seem right unto a man , but are the ways of death.Lets create a greater awareness that people need mental freedom.
