The more that we are forgiven, the more that we love. And the more that we love, the more that we will forgive in return. Jesus has forgiven us by dying the most shameful death. Such forgiveness is not just for ourselves but also to teach us a lesson to forgive those who have hurt us. As deep as the wounds went that were afflicted by those who have hurt us, the deeper His love is able to go when we are healed. The harder it is for us to forgive, the further we are from True Love. Forgiveness is essential, or we will stumble, and in many ways will stray from the course chosen for us.
