A person with fox's personality is clever and crafty (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). There are foxes all around us who are manipulative. They create the impression of friendliness, but their genuine intentions are to lead us away into captivity.
There is need for us to cry to God for protection against such fellows. Foxes are like computer viruses, they quitely enter into your system but eventually cause untold damages. We must pray to God to reveal people's intention to us. Jesus always discerned the evil intentions of people. He was never deceived by outward appearances. When they were following Him because of bread and not their love for the truth, He knew! When they wanted to make Him king and pulled Him into a contrary path. They wanted Him to walk contrary to God's purpose for His life, He also discerned it.
Unfortunately foxes are already in the church, they deceive and manipulate others to achieve their selfish agendas.
The ultimate intention of foxes is to destroy our blossoming vines. The vineyard of Samson was blooming and blossoming, he was highly annointed. Then came along Miss Fox - Delilah, she worked her way into his life and destroyed his vineyard. She turned him into a crump of bread!
When the anointing of the Holy Spirit begins to manifest in your life, then be aware that you will become a primary target of foxes. They are being sent from the pit of hell to crafitily enter your vineyard and destroy it from within. Who are your friends? What are their intentions for your life?
Foxes could also be little sinful habits that started in a harmless manner. Little indulgences that will eventually destroy your stand in Christ.
ACTION PLAN: Cease being naive and gullible, ask God to reveal intentions to you. Be discerning!
PRAYER: Father, catch for us foxes that are being sent from hell to destroy our vineyards.
