- Deut 30:19 -20a “I call the heavens and the earth to witness about you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore choose life so that you and your descendants may live, by loving Adonai your God, listening to His voice, and clinging to Him."
We learn from this verse that when our choice is life or death, we are to choose life. Many times in this world, all the choices set before us have little good in any of them, however, in seeking God and His direction through His Word, we can search where the most life is to be found and choose it.
God does not fault us when we earnestly seek Him and do according to His word to the best that we are able and do it with humbleness and mercy in word and deed.
