O Lord, let me hear and take courage from Your word...today. Help me to rid my heart of idols and help me to restore Your altar.
I need Your grace, Your strength, Your wisdom---YOUR LOVE and PRESENCE!

I do need Your help Lord; the lie has always been: "I can do it myself." ("My do it"; as my little grandson used to say.) I simply cannot live a life pleasing to You in my own strength.
I can also relate to Adm & Eve, running from Your voice...Your Presence in the garden... I find myself ashamed and wanting to cover my nakedness...my sinful desires...my actual sins; this also is a lie because You can see everything in my heart. 
I have had a couple of instances recently where I just "gave up"...and said I could not do it...and You were right there...LOL what a relief...You will strengthen my heart...and You will lead me in the paths of righteousness for Your name's sake. 
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
