Jesus, I say I want You to take over and do the things that You want to do with my life. I say it more and more sincerely as years go by.... and Your presence increases, and I praise You .... and the restructurings, and painful prunings, and rearrangings, multiply and I whine. I KNOW that our relationship deepens. I KNOW that my awareness increases and my receptivity and insights heighten. I am witness to far more of You and far more of the enemy. Communication in the Spirit grows in and through me. And, some days I do the "WHOA! HOLD UP thing" to You, because I need to breathe deeper and regain my balance and Your peace. I see, hear and feel the lashes of the opposition more acutely, too. Then, I KNOW why You don't hand me all of this as soon as I ask for it. You need to build my stamina for anointing !
I finally GET THAT ! The anointing is power applied and wielded. This takes energy, flexibility, transition, change, stamina and courage. As slow as it seems to come to me over all these years, I STILL feel backlash on some days. The great height and the great depth, compounded by the width and breadth of Your application, and the opposition somedays, like today... their illustration demands yieldedness to YOUR call and Your rod. Stear me clear of the rut and the pit, when You send me out in the fray with Your Love amped, like today.
Hubbs and I we cried and shared over how we LOVE You after church, today.... Moriah and I, we embraced today... Teknon and I, we fell prey, today... Two years late a phone rang, shattering the joy, probably the wrong one answered, talk about happenings didn't even come close to the joy it interupted. A question, certainly reasonable, caused him to run.... AGAIN. Chaos. Pick a Truth, the day supplied it. LIFE in abundance... abundant LIFE.
