Whoa. In this study, the greatest revelations were two:
Notably, Jesus, as Sovereign over all.... You even have the inclination to answer the petitions of the demons in this instance. This is interesting to me. And WHAT do the pigs do in response ? they immediately glorify death in their infamous swinedive to 'souie'cide, as the first account of deviled Ham. (sorry, couldn't help myself...hehehe) Coincidence, I don't think so. Demons need be invited, or permitted, to inhabit. Unlike angelic beings, residents of this planet, those fallen and those of visitation, there are no accounts of demons embodying as humans. They must be invited to habitation. The unsaved must OPEN themselves to possession. The saved, though unihabitable as Temples of the Holy Spirit, may invite oppression by the demonic. Some scholars believe that demons are the disembodied spirits of Nephilim.

Whoa. In this study, the greatest revelations were two:
- Jesus answered the prayers of three parties;
- the Legion = Yes, He answered their petition to be sent into the swine ( a Greek legion of solidiers is 6,000 men)
- the swineherder = Yes, and He left the town
- the demon delivered man = No, you cannot come with Me, but instead GO and tell what God has done for you. MISSIONS !!!
- Jesus went specifically to meet the man, a cutter, who lived among the tombs, comfortable with the dead, death, and self-abuse, chains that couldn't hold him dangling from his arms and legs, covered in the scars of his actions, outof his 'right mind.' Of the TEN cities on the lake, only ONE lay on that side of the lake !

I do believe, Jesus, that You do not make room inside me for the 'possession' by demonic beings. I, also, believe that the oppression by these demonic beings from without, can be so pressing and egregious that it can appear as possession..... can become as much a taxation as any suffering I've ever experienced. Our battleground is our mind, heart and YOUR SPIRIT. Remembering it is Your Blood that allows us to walk in, covet and remain in, Your Righteousness.... that is the task at hand.
