The House that YOU built, Jesus.

Recently, me and Hubbs have had reason to notice the great providence of our HOME. It's warm and full and YOURS....all YOURS. During recent UIB and family member's crises, we have noticed a particular pull on us to financially support others.... the catch.... we can't ! We are BOTH on partial UIB, now. In our grief at not being able to lend a hand, we have talked. Especially since Your OBVIOUS anointing of GR last summer, for BOTH of us.

It is TRUE that no one but YOU built GR for us. You have provided the health, the jobs, the income and the resources to gather and build GR, such as it is, incomplete, so far. Not during severe auto accidents, or job changes resulting in periods of unemployment, or serious injury, or financial strains of any kind has anyone ever given us a dime toward the building of this HOME. We realized that in 20 years of marriage, no one has ever given us any support of a financial kind. We are grateful as all getout that we have received gifts from Hubb's Dad, a scrapman, like a turkey fryer and several ourdoor lawn furniture pieces.... and from my Mom, of a few household hand -me-downs.... and, of course there have been very modest Christmas and birthday gifts along the way. ALL OF WHICH ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED ! Yet, the whole of GR, the cost, the accoutrements, the furnishings, everything.... has been of You, Jesus, through the jobs and earnings You have provided us.

I just want to say, that on a weekend like this one, when the holiday visiting and entertaining has finally ended and we are spending the first weekend home and unscheduled....I am GRATEFUL for GR.

I dyed my hair, and gave myself a pedicure and ran my daily miles and did my daily crunches and cleaned the whole ground floor top to bottom. Did some wash, built a fire, washed dishes and made lunch foods for the week with Hubbs (well, actually, he did most of the cooking.), ran around naked and free and safe and warm..... and I just gotta say....

THANK YOU< JESUS, for GR. Please help us to steward her well, to share her well, and to uphold Your service within her walls, for Your Glory. Amen
