Jesus, there's a familiar old skip in my step through the snow. For me, that had been missing when I used to work out in it. These past 5 years, I have been LOVING the snow. Everybody at work had that li'l kid twinkle in their eyes anticipating the snow coming our way today. We're all less anxious about it because we have the weekend to be snowed in and to dig out. So hunker down .....with a warm cup' o steamin' somethin-or-other, some good company, a special someone, a project, a book, a glass of Reisling, a SuperBowl, a movieand/or a few chores ( the kind that need those housebound days to come about ) and bring it on !!!
Last week when it snowed, Hubbs was home (partial unemployment
...... ). After he plowed the driveway and cleaned off all the sidewalks, he BUILT ME A SNOWMAN.... it is very big, taller than me, and it has egg beater ears ! It is making me smile so hard when I came down the driveway. He told me he purposely put it right in front of the window that I look out when I sit in my favorite chair in the livingroom. Jesus, can I say, "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww." I smile every time I look at him. He's got branches arms and is wearing gloves. He has some red lips and a juicer nose and coal buttons and a cowboy hat. He's a classic ! His name is "Ennis." It's snowing on him tonight ! He's gonna get buried. I'll have to unearth him in the morning and find his face and stuff.
This guy, that MOSTLY only I get to see, is such a really good man, Jesus. Thanks for him. I told my friend yesterday that the first 10 years of disillusionment make or break marriages. Then, after that, PTSD sets in and voila' you're housebroken and can finally settle in to the love that started the whole thing again. We were right about him, Jesus, he is the perfect husband for me. I'll hate him later when he gets all tough on me again, but for now, I'll keep him. Thanks for manifesting Your love in him toward me. You seem to be doing that more and more, lately...or, I've gotten satisfied with less and less. Clarity comes and goes, it's this PTSD, I can't always be sure. uber belly laughs !

So, I think I know FOR SURE the reason that some make it through the 'years of disillusionment' ( : to free from illusion; also : to cause to lose naive faith and trust) and some don't. It's those years when we lose the 'naive' and learn the informed and experienced faith and trust in each other. After we get through the storms, 7 bazillion times. It's all about the forgiving. Not just talking about forgiving, practicing forgiving. Of course, there needs to be recognition of the offense and an expression of 'remorse' or something like it. Then, the answer comes, cause Me and Hubbs, we iz good forgettors, Jesus, thanks to You.

So, yeah, this entry is sappier than my usual, but, that's because it's snowing and we're watching an Elvis movie while Ennis is holding down the yard in the snow. 7 They go from strength to strength [increasing in victorious power]; each of them appears before God in Zion.
Thanks for holding our hands when we are brats, Jesus, and being the third party in our covenant, for Your glory.

I LOVE when You address things to Jacob in the Bible, Jesus. Because Jacob is an unruly and despicable sort who needs LOTS of Grace and forgiveness:I'll give you strength. I'll help you.
I'll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.
