OKay, it's just plain crazy what I do to myself, Jesus. I WANT to fall deeper in love with You alone...I ask for that over and over... I actually do it more and more...but, Your coaxing of me, scares me. You want me to lay down EVERYTHING else. Yikes !
SOOOOO, anyway, between here and there and everywhere that I get pulled on by life, I let Your alone time with me slide. I honestly couldn't tell You why I do that, because absolutely NOTHING satisfies me like You do. It's just crazy.
So, today, I announced that I was spending 2 hours with You, not always enough, but we have company coming (please cover that with Your Blessings, Jesus) and I have to limit Us today. As You know, I'd prefer to just stay with You until I feel fed. You did, though, fill me and get me fed with 20 minutes to spare. That ROCKS. So, I have 20 minutes left before chores and I came here to tell You that You ARE the BOMB, the beginning and the end of me, and I am sorry that I have too much trouble going to You alone. Hubbs is great. Hubbs KNOWS that that time alone with You is everything to me. He left us alone for the past hour and 40, bless his heart.
So, here We are. You fed me. You keep telling me to," Get to it. Stop being lazy. Shake the viper loose and get to the healing that is in you !" ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT, as Matthew McConaghy would say. I am gonna hope to let You have me more and more.

You're famous for helping; God, give us a break.
Your reputation is on the line.
Pull us out of this mess, forgive us our sins—
do what you're famous for doing!
Don't let the heathen get by with their sneers:
"Where's your God? Is he out to lunch?"
Go public and show the godless world
that they can't kill your servants and get by with it.
11-13 Give groaning prisoners a hearing; pardon those on death row from their doom—you can do it!
Give our jeering neighbors what they've got coming to them;
let their God-taunts boomerang and knock them flat.
Then we, your people, the ones you love and care for,
will thank you over and over and over.
We'll tell everyone we meet
how wonderful you are, how praiseworthy you are!
